建筑业奇才公司AFSO体现着两位年轻的创立合伙人Andre Fu以及斯蒂芬妮•奥瑟琳尼（Stephane Orsolini）的开创业绩。作为极简主义建筑师约翰•泊森（John Pawson）的门生和剑桥大学的毕业生，Fu于2000年成立了一个小型设计工作室。由于他为欧皮亚（Opia）饭店和大厅、香港蓝天餐厅以及上海JIA的折衷主义大厅所进行的设计而获得了国际认同。他们的作品主要包括位于伦敦、清迈、香港以及上海具有与众不同风格的招待场所，以及即将进行的位于东京和新加坡的著名品牌旅馆工程。AFSO的设计哲学是为存在问题的空间创建最优化的布局，一旦进一步的功能改进已经不再可能，接下来就是在形成的表面之上运用各种式样和强烈的颜色。其愿景是在建筑之中将游嬉性与清晰性相融合。公司创始人多元文化的背景使得AFSO公司能够谨慎地运用各种手段来体现

Architectural Wunderkind AFSO embodies the initials of its two young founding partners, Andre Fu and Stephane Orsolini. A protégé of the minimalist architect John Pawson and a graduate of the University of Cambridge, Fu established the boutique design studio in 2000. AFSO gained
international recognition for their designs of Opia Restaurant & Lounge, as well as Azure Restaurant in Hong Kong and JIA shanghai's eclectic lobby,
Their work has largely comprised unique hospitality venues in London, Chiang Mai, Hong Kong and Shanghai, with upcoming projects for major hotel brands in Tokyo and Singapore. AFSO's design philosophy is firstly to generate the optimum layout for the space in question and once further functional refinement is no longer possible, secondly to apply pattern and intense colour to the resulting surfaces. Its vision is to blend clarity with playfulness in architecture. The multicultural backgrounds of its founders account fAFSO' meticulous approach to proportions and geometry. Fu is hailed by Conde Nast Traveler as an "Asian Design Sensation" and by trendsetting Travel & Leisure magazine US as "Design-of-the-moment". Fu is also named by Wallpaper* as an Upcoming talent.
